Ron Walton
Ron is the Operational Director with overall responsibility for controlling and directing the Company’s resources to ensure exemplary performance. Ron is a committed and enthusiastic Director with over 30 years’ experience working for major consultancies across all building types. He has extensive experience of framework management in both the public and private sector and has managed partnership and framework arrangements with Newcastle City Council, Northumbria University, North Yorkshire County Council, Your Homes Newcastle and Telereal.
Ron is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare and Estate Managers. He has worked mainly throughout the UK with overseas spells in Gibraltar and Dubai. Ron has a strong commercial and technical focus with a demonstrable record of accomplishment of delivering complex projects.Ron is an experienced Project Manager and lists amongst his achievements Northumbria Universities multi award winning City Campus East, Category 3 laboratory complex at Sutton Bonnington, British Telecommunications London Tunnels and most recently was the project/design manager for the iconic British Airways i360 – the world’s tallest moving observation tower
Ron is Secretary of a local Sports and Social Club that he maintains at the heart of the village community and endeavour’s to “keep open” in the face of ever rising costs and supermarket competition.At weekends Ron can be seen walking his Bolognese dog along the Durham coastline, although age (the dog not Ron) means that these special times are less frequent.
