Mark Hall
In January 2017 Mark joined Align Property Partners as the Technical Director for Asset Management and business development. He has professional qualifications in civil engineering, building design, project and asset management. He has over 30 years’ experience in highways, estates, and building infrastructure projects.
Mark has a wide knowledge of the highways maintenance, building and estate management in the private sector and the public sector for a number of the authorities which include, Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, Doncaster, Middlesbrough, Darlington, and North Yorkshire Districts and Blue Light clients.
Mark started his career providing highway design services for North Yorkshire County Council and later managing the highways and property teams for 15 years. After this he transferred to Mouchel Ltd as a service manager for highways and asset management for 10 years and subsequently transferred to Kier Ltd as service director for estates and business development. In January 2017 he joined Align Property Partners as the technical director for Asset Management and business development.
Mark has been a committee member of the North Yorkshire Surveying Society for 20 years who have members from the public and private sector in the construction industry. The society puts on technical learning events, arranges visits to operational construction sites, social events and raises money for local charities.
Outside of work Mark organises a music festival each summer in his local village, Ainthorpe, to raise money for charity. Socially, Mark is a member of England Fans Travel Club and regularly plays football for the local senior’s team.
