Align is hoping for another award success after being shortlisted for a prestigious property accolade
The Yorkshire Insider Property Awards will be held on Thursday, September 18, at New Dock Hall in Leeds to celebrate the region’s best individuals, companies and deals across the commercial real estate sector in 2025.
The turnkey letting at 2 Whitehall Quay in Leeds to the National Wealth Fund (NWF) has been shortlisted for Property Deal of the Year, after the company committed to a 15-year lease for nearly 29,000 sq ft of newly-refurbished office space.
Align represented the tenant NWF throughout the negotiation and helped broker the deal with Fox Lloyd Jones (FLJ) on behalf of landlords Britannia Invest A/S and its asset manager Catella APAM.
Commercial agency director at Align, Daniel Clinch, said: “We are incredibly proud of the part we played on behalf of the tenant to make this deal happen, and it was a real team effort to get it over the line.
“We are humbled to be shortlisted for this award alongside so many fantastic companies and individuals across the property sector, and this nomination represents the significant progress that has been and continues to be made by Align on a commercial level.
“To be in the running for such prestigious accolades alongside some of the very best in the business reinforces just how talented the team we have here, and it’s a real pleasure to lead them day-to-day.”
In May, Align was recognised for its role in the turnkey letting at 2 Whitehall Quay after it was crowned ‘Best Office Deal’ at the Yorkshire Commercial Real Estate Awards.
That was swiftly followed by the company being named SME Employer of the Year at the North Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards in June, and Energy Consultancy of the Year at July’s Yorkshire Energy Efficiency Awards.
Align’s multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, project managers, commercial agents and sustainability experts work with private clients and public organisations including North Yorkshire Council on a diverse range of projects.
