Five colleagues complete Northallerton 10k in aid of local charity
Five charity champions at Align successfully completed Sunday’s Northallerton 10k – all in the name of charity.
The brave colleagues joined thousands of others in completing the 6.2-mile course to raise vital funds for local good causes.
The team at Align – Nicola Blumer, Kelsey Collins, Craig Nelson, Joel Bint and Jack Askew – ran in aid of Pendragon Community Trust, the Northallerton-based multi-sensory centre which supports vulnerable adults, children and their families.
They have already raised more than £750 in sponsorship – taking Align’s fundraising efforts for Pendragon in 2025 alone to more than £1,850.
Nicola, who works as a business development administrator at Align, said: “It was such a fantastic event and it was amazing to see so many people turn out in support.
“We all felt a real sense of achievement when crossing the finish line. It was a weekend that will live long in the memory and I’m already looking forward to next year.”
Managing director at Align, Ron Walton, said: “This is a brilliant local event and I’d like to extend my congratulations and thanks to everyone who ran the race or played their part in what was a memorable occasion.
“I’d especially like to thank the team here at Align who bravely pulled on their running shoes to raise money for Pendragon, who provide such a lifeline for many families across North Yorkshire.”
